This bike is an Independence Custom Express, 2000 model softail chopper. The bike was sitting idle in a garage for years with only 3700 miles on the odometer. We traded for the bike and got it up and running. Needless to say, we put a new battery in it, cleaned and resealed the tank, rebuild the carb, changed the plugs and oil. The bike is up and running now and rides great. The engine is a 100 inch Rev Tech and the transmission is a 6 speed. Independence used a softail frame on these bikes with a little rake and longer forks for that chopper look. The bike has a 21 inch custom front wheel and a 16 inch rear wheel with a 180 tire. These bikes were chromed out from the factory, wheels, brakes, front end....lots of chrome! The bike has a Forcewinder intake, big custom pipes and chrome forward controls. We have ridden the bike 49 miles since it was traded for and it seems to do well. The bike still as original tires, they will need replacement, it has a chipped tooth on the flywheel also that causes a little noise at startup when cold, after its warm it starts very fast and you never hear it.
